Active Ingredient
doramectin
Provides long-lasting control of 36 parasites. For the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, kidney worms, grubs, sucking lice and mange mites. Proven to effectively control infections and protect cattle from reinfection with Cooperia oncophora and Haemonchus placei for 14 days, Ostertagia ostertagi for 21 days and for Cooperia punctata, Oesophagostomum radiatum and Dictyocaulus viviparus for 28 days after treatment.
Improved Productivity:
- In stocker trials, Dectomax Injectable controlled parasites to outgain injectable ivermectin with clorsulon or ivermectin by up to 26 pounds.1
- Preweaned calves treated with Dectomax Injectable before they went to summer pasture gained 28 pounds more than untreated calves (p = .05) by the time they were weaned.2
Contains 10 mg doramectin per ml.
Dosage: Cattle - 1 ml via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection per 110 lbs body weight; Swine - 1 ml via intramuscular injection per 75 lbs body weight. Not for use in female dairy cattle over 20 months of age or in veal calves. Slaughter withdrawal: Cattle - 35 days; Swine - 24 days.
